It’s official. The 20th Annual National Sweepstakes Convention will be held in Manchester, NH, July 1-5, 2009. Usually the following years convention would have been announced in May or June. But the Lonestar Stampede which is the 19th National Sweepstakes Convention will be held on Labor day weekend. This is later than usual. But people want to make airfare and lodging arrangements ASAP. Who knows how much a plane ticket will cost by January, with the price of gas rising.
Anyways, the 20th National Sweepstakes Convention theme is the “Star Spangled Celebration”. The two people organizing the convention is Karen and Tania Biron. They are two great ladies, kind and friendly. I’ve had the pleasure to get to know them at several past conventions. I know they will put on one fabulous convention.
Who’s all going to the Lonestar Stampede? I know it’s over 900 people. What a time that will be. The 19th Sweepstakes Convention is going to be one heck of a convention. Those Texans know how to party! Plus it going to be in San Antionio, on the River Walk, I must add. I can’t wait to hear the reports when its over.
